Intervention and Advancement Team |

SCS will utilize a variation of the Response-to-Intervention (RtI) approach to address learning and behavioral problems that is revised to address the needs of students in need of advancement as well—an Intervention and Advancement Team (IAT) model. SCS will provide high quality instruction and intervention matched to student need, monitor progress frequently to make decisions about change in instruction or goals, and apply child response data to important educational decisions, such as need for remediation or advancement. The regular classroom will be the first line of intervention. Lack of progress will lead to change in intervention.
To accomplish IAT SCS will implement a team model.
