The Program Director will:

    1. Assist the head of the school to ensure that the school’s mission is implemented with fidelity
    2. Manage grant data and evaluation of outcomes for the SC Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Public Charter School Grant Program
    3. Solicit additional funds and conduct additional grant-writing
    4. Conduct psychological evaluations as deemed necessary by the IAT
    5. Teach character education classes
    6. Provide individual and group interventions for students and families of the Spartanburg Charter School as deemed necessary by the Intervention and Advancement Team (IAT)
    7. Co-lead IAT meetings
    8. Assist the head of the school in the recruitment and selection of faculty/staff
    9. Assist the head of the school in planning of the master schedule
    10. Assist the head of the school in planning of the budget
    11. Stay abreast of current research in education in general, and in character education, special education, and the RTI model in particular and
    12. Carry out all duties that may be assigned by the board of directors.
